Text chat option not shown during video meeting
I'm doing a lot of mass video conferences with work, and due to the number of participants the text chat option is very important. However, during the video call, I have no option for text chat shown.
Many of my colleagues have this option available but I can't work out how to turn this on/find it. Has anyone else had this problem?
I have just completed a series of trainings using teams and a number of our participants could not see the chat features. I know our settings were correct as we double and tripled checked them and most were able to see it. Seemed to be a problem more commonly with people using apple products. Would appreciate any support to avoid this problem in the future as it did have a detrimental effect on our training. ClareLeevers
Seeing exactly the same thing - how do we get Chat turned on for all members. Some have it, many do not. Laura1971
- It should show in the ... menu as a preview feature. If it's missing, check Teams admin center. The meeting policy assigned to your account and make sure that transcription is enabled. If those things are on, it might be the fact that it hasn't pushed to everyone yet, but those are two places to check to see if they are enabled.
