Teams using 12 hour am/pm instead of 24 hour clock
Hi HScheel,
the time format displayed in Microsoft Teams is typically linked to your computer's system settings. If your system is configured to show time in the 24-hour format, Teams should align with this preference.
However, there are instances where Teams may not adhere to these settings.
From your provided screenshot, it appears that Teams is presenting time in the 12-hour format (AM/PM), contrary to your preference for the 24-hour format.
Several factors could contribute to this:
- Application Settings:
Teams generally mirrors the time format set on your device, lacking an in-app option to adjust this setting independently. - Device Settings:
In cases where your device settings are correctly configured for the 24-hour format but Teams fails to reflect this, a synchronization issue may be at play. - Software Bugs:
Anomalies within the Teams application could lead to the observed difference.
How do I change my Teams time format from 24 hour to a 12 hour format? - Microsoft Community

I am almost sure that this is a Software Bugs and my Application and Device setting is only using 24 hour clock. So my reason for asking in the Community was to understand if other users do see the same issue and we therefore can raise a request at Microsoft to fix the issue.- wbhtfJan 11, 2024Copper Contributor
HScheelI am also having this issue.
my windows 11 settings are all 24-hr, but "new Teams (work or school)" disregards this.

wbhtf Same here, when initiating a meeting in the calendar in Teams, time shows as AM/PM although my Windows settings is 24h (and other Office apps comply).
I like the implementation in "new" Outlook, showing time relative to UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), and the pop-up settings that allows you to change it quickly. This is really helpful when operating in multiple time zones and trying to find appropriate meeting times. Hopefully they copy this function for Teams.

HScheel You Are right. I just checked and see the same I don't know if there is a setting already. It could be a tenant setting.
