Teams status issue

Hi,

I am doing remote job.  I am using new Microsoft teams. My team's status always goes away if I am working in some other tools or tabs. I have to go back to teams every 2 minutes once to change the status to available. It's really frustrating. Please help.

    Hello Tuli1988,
    Steps to set a static status on Teams
    • Click on your profile picture on the top right corner of the Teams app.
    • Select your desired status from the drop-down menu. You can choose from Available, Busy, Do not disturb, Be right back, or Appear away.
    • Click on the duration option below your status. You can select from 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, Today, This week, or Custom.
    • If you choose Custom, you can enter the date and time when you want your status to change back to automatic.
    • Click on Done to confirm your selection.

      JasonWynn , Thank you for your response. I tried the method that you suggested. But still the status is showing away.  I am working in other tabs, but it is going away after 2 to 3 minutes.
