Teams Sharepoint Site
I have been digging through documentation and have been coming up empty. I am attempting to find a way, when provisioning a Team in 365, to use a specific Sharepoint Template when the system is creating the Sharepoint site that backs the Team. I have looked at Team templates, and while there are some Apps for Sharepoint, Sharepoint Pages, those do not affect the SPS Site created for the Team. I have a SPS Template I would like to use already, I just dont know if I can trigger/use it during instantiation. I did see Teams Connected Templates articles, and it sort of sounds like what I want to do, but apparently this has been delayed in its release (no documentation other than 'its coming' articles).

- You're correct, the release has been pushed forward and is expected to rollout by mid-October. Here's the roadmap item https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=84724
- Russ BurdenCopper ContributorThanks for that confirmation, but is the teams connected templates going to be the feature that I am needing or looking for? Is there no automated fashion for doing this, just manually change the Team template after the fact?
