Teams Policy Setting Media BIt Rate

Hello, I work for an ad agency and for an upcoming new client pitch we created a new meeting profile to increase the media bit rate up to 4gb since we will be playing videos in our presentation within Teams. Only issue is it just came up today that we will not be using a Teams link from our environment rather one from our potential client's Teams environment. Does this Media BIt Rate profile setting only apply to our current environment or will it work as well if we are using another company's Teams link?
