It's mid July, 2024-- and I am having the issue that people can't go into Immersive Spaces in New Teams, regardless if they're Business or Enterprise, with high spec machines, up to date on updates.
This looks like a regression- like they broke something trying to do an update and rolled too far back. The twist is-- in the meeting, ONE person can switch from Gallery view to Immersive Space- but no one else can. They stand in there alone, while the rest of us stay in the gallery (and, added bonus, their audio is muffled, like they're underwater or in a tunnel. And MS is going to change Mesh audio to Teams, good luck with that).
This has been tested with six people of various tenants over the last four days. I will be testing with someone else in ten minutes. But I suspect there is an issue.
So for my fellow Teams Immersive Spaces users- have any of you recently had this problem. If you have a moment, can you test and see if it *is* happening to you (with others in the meeting) now? I am not the only one, but maybe it's a small subset? We have all the correct admin settings, we have the right licenses, it worked for us two weeks ago, some even up to the middle of last week, but it doesn't now.
For Microsoft, I have done FEEDBACK over and over and over. Please don't ask me to post feedback. I want to know if this is a known problem, and will it be fixed by the end of next week, when I am doing a demonstration for Microsoft's own clients at one of their offices? Thanks.
