Teams Meeting Q&A external users
Is there a way to allow external users to participate in Q&A on a teams meeting without having to add them to AzureAD as guest/external users?
We regularly conduct meetings with short term external collaborators and want to be able to use Q&A in meetings without having to go through the process of adding them to AAD.
I note that the https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/manage-qna-for-teams has the following but I don't see anything mentioned about anonymous users, or guests not added to Teams/SP/AAD
Q&A can be used by the following user types:
- Regular user—A user with Microsoft 365 credentials in your tenant.
- Federated user—A user with Microsoft 365 credentials to a different tenant.
- Guest user—Any guests you add to your Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Azure Active Directory.
