Teams meeting notification not showing when call is started before schedule

As the title states, our users reported that they are not getting pop up notification about meetings if the call is started before the scheduled time.

Banner notifications are enabled, and work flawlessly when the meeting is started on time. These meetings are in different channels but in the same team.

I managed to reproduce the error and verified it only occours when the meeting call is started before its scheduled.

Did anyone encounter this problem? Did you have any solution beside starting the meeting on time?
