Teams "Files" tab refreshes on every access

We've noticed that when we access the "Files" tab in a channel an initial list of files is shown and then it immediately refreshes and adds more files.  This consistently happens on every access.  Does anyone know why this is happening?  I can understand it refreshing once to pickup recent files but not every time.
