Teams Error after password change of 365 account

Impossible to change password in teams desktop client after new password in commercial office 365 account was set. Teams was fully functional bevore password change, no vpn is used.

 

Steps done so far:

- TLS checked to be enabled

- several instances of uninstall, delete MS cache, reboot, reinstall as administrator

- run in compatibility mode for Windows 8

 

Why doesnt teams desktop client ask for new password?

Any way to enter new password?

 

Error code is caa7004.

  • g54zth On the local machine look in Credential Manager. Typically when signing in to Teams you will be allowing other apps on that machine to also use the same credentials, so they are in the machines shared location.

      Steven Collier thanks for fast reply - teams login name and password is not available in credential manager. Checked web and all local entries.
