Teams doesn't work/stops working on desktop and online

I had been using teams for work for over two years without any issue. Just in the last week or two I have encountered a problem (that I know others have also had) where upon trying to open teams, it is permanently stuck on the little loading box that usually only has to show for 5 seconds before opening the program.

I have read various thread with solutions, but haven't found any that permanently solve the problem. I have tried completely uninstalling/reinstalling the program, which sometimes works, but only once. The next time I open it it is stuck at the loading box again. I have also tried deleting the cache/entire Teams data folder. This also usually works, but also just once, and sometimes Teams even reverts to the loading screen mid-session if I minimize it or otherwise work in other programs in between, and then I have to close it, delete all the Teams data again, and start over.

I would even possibly settle for using the browser app, but that doesn't seem to work no matter what I do (in Chrome and Edge)--it just shows a blank white page.

Anyone have any solutions? It is unsustainable to have to deal with this multiple times a day.
