Teams Chat not working

Hi All

One of my user is facing issue accessing Microsoft Teams. When he tries to open chat of any user in his teams they show blank i.e they dont show any chat which he has chatted earlier. the user is using outlook for mac. Experts guide me on this.

    Hi! Why is Outlook mentioned? Have the user tried to do a logout of Teams and logged back in again?
