Teams Chat Messages - Retention by default
Hello, if we do not define a retentionpolicy for Teams Chats (1:1 and in Teams) how long these are saved. Does anything happens over time ? The Files shared depends on the backend onedrive / sharep...
upfaffer81 There is no age limit on Teams messages by default, they will last forever unless they are deleted. A retention policy would both prevent a user action removing the compliance message, and in configured remove messages after the defined period.
