Teams calling and business premium
Hi,
Sorry, but no you can't. You need to use an Enterprise plan to be able to add the Phone system Add-on.
I'm not sure why and I heard something about this is changing but I've not heard any official about it so currently you can't buy Phone system add-on or use Direct Routing with Business plans. Smaller companies up to 300 users would be perfect match for cloud telephony.

LinusCansby Thanks for the clarification .I guess Microsoft should clear their error from below link;
it does say this can be an add on as option 2.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-add-on-licensing/office-365-business-premium
and this is a recent doc.. 😞

SamanthaTang Yes, that is not correct and I see that there is an open feedback to change that so I think Microsoft will correct that soon.

This is what i thought but within the documentation for the Virtual Licenses Microsoft have added...

Phone System only works with E1, E3 and E5 Licenses Officially. Cloud PBX/Phone System for Teams direct routing will only support on those licenses. As those are only compatible licenses for the services.

Ben_Rooke I doubt that information is correct, F1 can't have the Phone system add-on and "Office Premium" is that supposed to be Business Premium, maybe?
