I found a rough work around. I created an Office 365 group that contains only the organization's director. It's not ideal because the director doesn't see voicemail notifications in Teams. The best I was able to do was change the settings for the one-person group in the Office 365 Admin center to send an email alert with an attached MP3 recording. It would be really helpful if sending a call to a person's voicemail was an option in auto attendants or call queues. It probably took a week of staff time to come up with this solution.
- janglissSep 14, 2021Iron ContributorThat's how I've solved that same situation as well. Not the prettiest, and we've had folks complain about the missing notifications on devices as well. However, it does give some additional benefits such as being able to add additional folks to manage the voicemail if needed, or the group can have double duty and be a recipient of the call and the destination for voicemail (rather than assign individual users).
