Teams black and green lines when sharing screen and recording impact
If the live share looks normal while the recording contains corrupted frames, suspect the Teams capture/encoding path or the Mac display setup rather than only permissions.
First update Teams and macOS, then reproduce with external monitors, docks, and DisplayLink disconnected. Microsoft documents macOS sharing issues with some docking setups. Also confirm Teams is enabled under System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen & System Audio Recording.
In Teams, try Settings > General > Screen sharing > Use macOS content sharing, then compare sharing one window with the entire display. Run a short test from Teams on the web too. A clean web recording would point toward the desktop client.
Immediately after a failed test, use Help > Collect support files or Option+Command+Shift+1. Give your admin the meeting time, macOS version, Mac model, monitor/dock details, and Teams version so they can open a Microsoft support case with the media logs. I’m not aware of a confirmed issue tied specifically to build 26149.
