Teams App on Android notifies about calls even without permission

We are currently in the process of migrating Skype users on-premise to Teams including a Direct Routing Scenario.

Now Users that have been already migrated to "Teams only" mode are receiving calls on their mobile phone when having the Teams app for Android installed. Even when disabling all notifications the call is still displayed in the foreground. All other notifications like missed call or chat messages don't trigger any notification.

Does anybody have the same issues here?

App Version: 1416 (22.11.2019)

Android Version: 9 (Pie)

Yes, I am experiencing the very same issue. Even with the latest Teams app (version 1416/1.0.0.2019111505) saying that it should be resolved. Disabling incoming call notifications doesn't help, and disabling all notifications neither.

It does work with all other notifications.  We also have a POC with Direct Routing & Teams. I must add that this also doesn't work with teams-users with :

    - Voice system license & islands mode (sfb & teams installed)

    - Voice system license & teamsonly mode (only teams installed)

it does seem to work on IOS though, but not on Android devices. I tested on multiple android versions , and it's the same behaviour. Very annoying, because I do like the Teams mobile app, but this is very frustrating.

edit: there is a uservoice thread going on about this. please upvote to get it noticed!
