Teams and external accounts
Hello,
Our organization (education) is investigating how we can use MS Teams with external accounts. We have students and staff members combined in one tenant. We like to give the staff members the possibility to invite external users to there Teams. Students can only share and invite with internal accounts.
What options do we have to realize this? Can it be don with standard Microsoft 365 configuration?
Our doe we need special tooling and can some point me to this type of tools our company how
make this type of tooling/add-ins

You can invite people into your teams with guest access, see here
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/set-up-guests
It can be done with standard M365 configuration in the Teams Admin Centre. It is a standard part of Teams.
