Teams - settings to make a new chat pop up to the foreground in Windows 10

Almost 3 years later and this functionality is still not implemented. Due to Skype being deprecated we are forced to use Teams, but I've already missed so many chats due to the screen not popping up like Skype did. And when Teams starts it should also pop up with the last chat you missed since closing Teams. Again, how hard is it to add the same functionalities that Skype has to Teams.
The notifications are just on screen for a moment, and as far as I know you cannot extend the time for a specific type of notification, I sure as hell don't want all my notifications too long on my screen.
