Team Share Button Missing, but comes back when mic gets muted/unmuted
Bit of a weird issue with Teams. A few people have told IT that sometimes, the share button is missing in a Teams meeting. What someone figured out, perhaps by accident, is that if they mute and unmute themselves, the button reappears. I have not seen this myself and no idea how I would even replicate this.
Has anybody else experienced this?

- harlperCopper ContributorSame here. The share Button is missing in 1-to-1 internal Teams Calls, if the Caller dial by number. If the caller dial the Callee by name (choose the contact) the button appears instantly.
- Hi,
The share but is missing when the users are in Attendee mode in the Teams Meeting. In Teams Meeting there are four type of role.
1. Organizer:- Who schedules the meeting and is also presenter.
2. Co-Organizer:- Who attends the meeting and is also a presenter. This user can manage the meeting in absence of organizer
3. Presenter:- User who would be presenting in the Teams Meeting
4. Attendee:- Users who would be listening to the Teams Meeting and have verbal communication using the Audio and Video but would not be presenting anything.
Only the attendee role will never have the option of share button in Microsoft Teams Meeting. All the other role will have same.

Under our Participants and Guests section of our meeting policies, we have set "Who can present in meetings" set to "Everyone, but user can override".
In any case, it doesn't doesn't explain why the share button comes back when a user mutes/unmutes themselves.- Hi,
My apologies if by mute/unmute the users is able to get the functionality of sharing in the Teams Meeting then that is not standard for sure. Can you check with the impacted users and see if they can try the following steps and then try to re-produce the issue
Clear the Microsoft Teams Cache on Windows and Mac devcies

The roles are valid for a regular Teams Meeting as well. Looking at your Teams Meeting configuration your users are presenter in the meeting so they should have the rights to present in the Teams Meeting by default.
