Students unable to log on to Teams
Hi we seem to be having an issue with Teams we get the following error message in the URL
https://teams.microsoft.com/_#/licenseError?errorCode=TeamsDisabledForTenantForbidden
I have checked the license on the admin portal there is dropdown box for Student license and Faculty.
Faculty account are working
If i move a user from student licenses to faculty it still does not work
Can i license Both Faculty and Student license at the same time
Thanks in Advance
Hi
I have got the User account to work if i remove the student license and then apply the faculty license which is ok.
It never work before with Student license
We could really do with getting faculty and student license types licensed

How long did you wait after changing the license?
And did it ever worked before with the Student license?

Did you enabled the Student license to use Teams? This is not enabled by default
Teams is not enabled by default for students. Teams must be enabled for students before they can access Teams. Use the Office 365 admin portal to enable Teams for faculty and students.

To enable it, i found the following:
- Login with Global Admin in O365: Microsoft 365 admin center-> Settings-> Services & add-ins-> Microsoft Teams.
- Select Settings by user/license type, and then configure the relevant license type to enable the user
