I am using teams for my virtual classroom. A student from a different class, invited me to join her team meeting chat. From there I was able to join that teacher's meeting. That student is not on ...
If it was a channel meeting (within the team only) you should be able to see the chat! It could be a private meeting which you can access with the link! How did you get access to the chat?
