Spellchecking settings in MacOs Teams app
The 'Manage spellchecking languages' setting doesn't seem to work. What ever languages I choose and add there (instructions say three is the maximum) does not take effect or stay added. When I go back to the setting there are no languages added, even though I have added them many times. Only way to change the spellchecking language seems to be to change the language of the app itself, which isn't very convenient as it requires app restart.
Also there is no setting to disable the spellchecking.

The latest stable release for Mac (Public cloud) is:
- Version: 25306.805.4102.7211
- Release date: November 20, 2025 https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/teams-app-versioning
The other version (25317.1601.4113.6967) is not listed in the official stable channel history. It might belong to:
- Preview channel
- Internal or staged rollout
- Windows build (since numbering can differ across platforms)
ā For macOS stable channel, 25306.805.4102.7211 is the latest.
My MacBook is running Version 25306.805.4102.7211.
No issues there with selecting language and Spellchecking can be disabled.
