"Share system audio" in a Teams meeting has disappeared

LinusCansby That little audio icon does not appear on my screen at all. I see the other buttons but not that one. Any other suggestions?
pcarson123 I assume you are on a Mac cause of this? Mac still hasn't had this feature added to it per roadmap: Microsoft 365 Roadmap | Microsoft 365

You have to use the Teams app
When you click on the share button,
This should pop up below and to the Left
You then choose which window you want to share.
- Thanks for your reply,Yes that is the Teams app but the laptop is a mac. Realised that it does not show up on mac after reading a few forums. Tried on Windows and found it.
I can't find that button
I only can see "presenting...., Give control, stop presenting" 3 buttons in the bar
camtu Are you running Windows Desktop Client? Maybe uninstall Teams and clear cache before you install again can help.

Then you have to download the desktop client and install it on your computer. You are using Teams web app and that version can't share system audio.
- This exact issue came up today, the instructor couldn't share audio from a PowerPoint app on Teams on a web browser (Chrome). Thanks for the heads up but will that change anytime soon Linus Canby?

LinusCansby Thank you very much! I can now see that tiny button, too, but wow that's a hard icon to find if you aren't used to looking there.
