Setup Toll Free number for incoming calls

We have ported in a toll free number 888 thats used for customers calling us, however cant get it to work.  'You're not setup to use that calling feature'  We're trying to assign it to a resource account.  Weve been told to add Audio conference feature - doesn't work, Pay as you go calling plan - doesn't work, Communication credits - can't even find those to buy (supposedly deprecated in favour of pay as you go)

Have has a case open with Microsoft for weeks with no satisfaction.

Has anybody set this up successfully,  please help as our line is going unanswered!

Thanks

Going to need a bit more information.

Did you port this 888 number to Microsoft or another carrier (Operator Connect)?

Did the port process actually complete?

Is the resource account configured and licensed correctly?

The Audio Conference feature is for using a toll free number to allow invitee to call into a Teams meetings via audio only.

DennisMatl  Thanks for your reply, it's been solved by our CSP.  Boils down to a) if tenant is NCE then communication credits are not available as they are legacy product.  Couldn't setup Pay as you go because tenant was created by CSP, and they had to create the Pay as you go.  There doesnt seem to be any documentation that explains this, and Microsoft support just ran around in circles with this.  Lesson to be learned get someone with PERSONAL experience doing this.
