Sending a chat to To-do or Planner

Hey all, does any one have a way to take a chat message and turn it into a To-do or Planner Task? This seems like a no-brainer, but right now, it's a pretty convoluted process. Is there a 3rd party app or some other way to do this? Thanks in advance!
