Selecting sound focus to specific members in multi member teams session

Hello,

This is my first conversation in the community so I am kind of doubtful if this question should be here, but here goes.

I am a teacher using teams for lessons in teams. It is possible to move out of a session with selected members to a second session with the first session on hold. During this moving out there is no audible communication with the first session. In class this does not work that way because during talking to one student you still pick up conversation of other students, be it less emphatically present. Basically you could say, in a multi member session the communication is still between two people. Would it be possible to create something where I can select some members where the audio is of normal volume, and the not-selected members can be heard but in limited volume? In the real world you would move out of the crowd but still you notice when something is said which might interest you or when your name is spoken.

In these days of corona virus we also have online meetings to have some small talk, like you do during breaks. This gets very hard when all audio of everyone has the same volume.

I hope it is a bit clear what I am trying to accomplish.

kind regards, **bleep**.

I searched the uservoice part but could not find this between the really large number of ideas. I didn't search them all however.. but will add this idea to it.

Unfortunately and apparently my first name (D+i+c+k) is detected as abusive language. I will use my baptismal name in the future..

    kind regards, Dirk.
