Scheduling assistant and Profile Viewer time zone incorrect

I am in UTC+1 (Central European Time), and my Microsoft account reflects this:

And messages are correctly marked with the local time when I send or receive in Teams.

But when I "View my profile" in the new Teams my current time is incorrect:

But when I view other peoples profiles in Teams then the relative time zone (e.g. you are x hours behind/ahead) is correctly calculating based on my being in CET:

Also, when colleagues try and invite me to meetings, my time zone shown as Pacific Daylight Time (Screenshot from Outlook desktop):

For some reason the Outlook Scheduling Assistant and Teams Profile Viewer are using Pacific time for me. None of my colleagues have this issue and as far as we can tell there is nothing different about my account.

Can we get some help to fix this?

RichardDSVI had a similar problem, in the full settings I did not see anything special. But in these smaller popup Outlook settings I could fix it as shown on the screenshot.

Whatever this feature is, it's objectively stupid. 😁

  • Hello  RichardDSV
welcome to the Microsoft community, My name is Recep I'll be happy to help you today.

I understand that Scheduling assistant and Profile Viewer time zone incorrect.

Here are a few things you can try to get Outlook Scheduling Assistant to use your selected time zone:

    - Check your Windows Timezone settings - Outlook uses the timezone set in Windows. Make sure this matches your preferred timezone.

    - Go to Outlook Settings > General > Time Zone and check that the correct timezone is selected here as well.

    - Close and reopen Outlook to refresh the timezone.

    - Try scheduling a meeting from the invite window rather than the Scheduling Assistant add-in.

    - Disable any third-party scheduling plugins/add-ins that could interfere.

    - Reset Outlook to default settings which may clear any cached timezone issues:

Go to File > Options > General > Reset

-Select "Reset only my Outlook view"

If not work, Please feel free to let me know how it goes or if I've got you wrong so I can provide further suggestion. You can help to share screenshot via private message I sent as below:

      Thanks for replying.

The problem isn't with MY Outlook (or Teams), its with how my colleagues see my Time Zone.

Everything works fine for me (except the Teams Profile view), but for them my time zone is shown as PET.

For completeness I have no 3rd party plugins and I have confirmed that my local time zone settings are correct.

I expect that the problem is in the Microsoft infrastructure, not on my machine. Possibly a problem with my account.
