Routing incoming calls to voicemail

Setting up a new teams phone setup.  Looking at setting up a menu option in the auto attendant.  Want calls during the closed hours to direct to a users voicemail and not a shared voicemail box.

    Hi Gwigen,

    To route incoming calls to a user's voicemail instead of a shared voicemail box during closed hours in a Teams phone setup, you can do this:

    1. Set up Auto Attendant: Access the Microsoft Teams Admin Center and navigate to "Voice" > "Auto Attendants." Create or edit an existing Auto Attendant for your organization.

    2. Configure the menu option: In the Auto Attendant settings, configure a menu option for closed hours. Specify the desired prompt for callers during closed hours and select the option to transfer the call.

    3. Configure the transfer settings: In the transfer settings for the closed hours menu option, select "Transfer to" and choose the user whose voicemail you want to route the call to. Ensure that you select the user's individual voicemail box instead of a shared voicemail box.

     

    4. Specify closed hours: In the Auto Attendant settings, set the closed hours to the desired time range during which calls should be routed to voicemail. This ensures that the menu option is active only during the specified closed hours.

     

    5. Test and validate: Save the Auto Attendant settings and test the routing by calling during the closed hours. Verify that calls are correctly directed to the user's voicemail.

      Thank you for the reply.  Im not seeing this transfer to option you are referencing. I have my Auto AA created and business hours set.  Set for "Play Menu Options"

      when setting the menu options im only seeing the below choices.

      If I set it for Person in organization i can assign the correct person but it should ring the individual and not direct to Voicemail.
