RFI: Recurring Teams Meetings and Subsequent Attendee Access to Chat, Transcript and Recording
I'm hoping others may be able to provide some insight. I have a feeling Teams Meetings functionality may have changed since I was last asked this question. From memory only participants from the organisation who were included in the required and optional recipients list had access.
I have been asked by a Meeting Organizer how they can restrict access to the meeting chat, transcript and recording following a meeting.
There are situations in which guests who are 'dialled-in' during the meeting, or receive forwarded invitations (ie not a recipient) should not be able to see the chat, transcript and recording.
We undertook an extensive meeting test exploring all attendee options, meeting options etc... EVERYONE appeared to have access to the chat, transcript and recording.
Any clues on how to restrict access without the user having to manage permissions?
