Restrict Teams users ability to message users in other groups/OU
Greetings,
I haven't been able to find this in the MS documentation or in the MS Admin center (probably overlooked it). Our organization has multiple departments that are all authenticated under their own Active Directory OU. We are currently using hybrid Office 365, with some users fully migrated, and others still on our local Exchange. Most users in the organization have basic grandfathered Office 365 E2 licenses, while a handful are migrated with E3. All the licensed users have access to Teams, and I am trying to restrict their ability to send messages to anyone outside their OU department. It would be fine if this restriction was group based as well/instead.
I would appreciate any input, thank you!
