Re: Teams Recap

se_eun_kim Hi there, there is a chance that the recording might have been deleted. I checked my OneDrive's recently deleted items and recovered it from there. I hope this resolves your issue.

Best regards

    Hello,
    banji1130
    karen_dredske

    I need your help..
Files recorded by the person whose account has been deleted are
    Can't you restore it again??

I can't see the file in my team's recycle bin...
If you can restore this, could you tell me how to find someone who can?
For example, requesting Microsoft to restore...

In my case, all my meeting recordings are stored in my OneDrive. Therefore, I logged into my OneDrive account and retrieved my recording from the recycle bin. The file was deleted as my recordings are configured to expire after 30 days. To recover the files, you need access to that person's account/email.

        I see,
But the account owner left the company last month, so the account was deleted.
so, I won't be able to log in to that account... 😞
In this case, Is there no way to restore it?
The only person who participated in the meeting was the recorder.
I tried to find the deleted video in the recycle bin, but I couldn't even find the deleted video because I wasn't a participant.

    Hello banji1130,

    Thank you for your reply.

You mean, you restore the file for me???

I try access to that link and file still not work....

The file owner was retired, so I think this issue from she's account was deleted.

    It doesn't matter?

I just want to how can I found the origin file,....

    The file was disappear forever?

If the video file was in the OneDrive account of a user who has left your organization and it is less than 30 days since the license was removed, then the global administrator can assign the files for that user to someone else and the files can be accessed and moved to someplace where everyone who needs access has it.

      https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/add-users/remove-former-employee-step-5?view=o365-worldwide

If it is more than 30 days and the files were not transferred to someone else, then they may be lost. Check with your global administrator.

        Thank you so much,

It has been more than 30 days since the file owner left the company. (Account also deleted)

We didn't back up anything because we didn't know ;(

Even in this case, is file recovery possible?

        1. Delete the file owner account
        2. No files downloaded (nothing backed up)

I want to recover deleted files.
Are you telling me to contact the global manager?
