Custom backgrounds?
Did the custom backgrounds functionality get fully rolled out? If so, I can't figure out how to enable it. I'm using Teams on Mac if that makes any difference. And so far I haven't even been able to ...

Jason Tenpenny I know they must be part of the preview or TAP program. Aya Tange any updates for the rest of us?
It would be incredibly useful for my org to have the custom backgrounds available (not to mention the other new features in the video, like raising a hand and background-noise reduction). Has there been any more news on this?
- Both are due for an April release. They stage the updates over several weeks across tenants so there isn't a set release date.
Brad Groux Thanks for the quick reply and explanation as to why there's not a set release date. We'll just have to be patient, I guess. 🙂
No problem. Their tiered rollout approach is to limit any issues with the updates, and to also not overwhelm their support staff. During the COVID-19 crisis and increased demands, they may also take a bit longer than usual.
