QoS for Teams client on macOS?

All the articles for Teams QoS client implementation refer to Group Policy and Windows clients. What about macOS users? 90% of my users are macOS based.

    Hi ibizwu ,

For macOS and mobile devices, Microsoft recommends that you do port-based DSCP marking.

You should configure your network components to tag traffic depending on the port usage.

I did some testing on my MacBook and noticed macOS is doing some tagging. You can instruct the MAC to start tagging when you activate "Insert Quality of Service (QoS) markers for real-time media traffic" in the teams admin center under meeting settings.

The values used for tagging are hardcoded. This is also documented in the link below. They mention EF for audio and AF41 for video.

    Regards,

    Paul

Edit: I updated the post after some testing with my MAC

      Hello!
      Thank you for this thread.
I am trying to do QoS with Teams as well, and I have activated the option "Insert Quality of Service (QoS) markers for real-time media traffic" in the teams admin center.
When I verified, it didn't mark the paquets with the dscp values; it remained null.
      Should I do anything else?
      Thanks.
