Public teams in Microsoft Teams
My advise is that you should NOT use public teams in your tenant because:
• Organization transcending information should be central placed. For example on a communicationsite or intranet.
• There is a greater chance that documents end up in the wrong place.
• A team owner is responsible for the content within the team. But not smart if employees have low knowledge and experience with Microsoft Teams.
• A meeting can be started from the channel 'general'. Every employee wil then receive an incoming call.
Are there more reason why you shouldn't allow public teams? I am curious about your opinion!
- Hi,
Thank You for your feedback, Public Teams is more specific for the personal use.
