    Hi Bill_Lyon,

unfortunately, moving a project file from one Teams channel to another is not possible. When a project is created and assigned to a group in Teams, it cannot be changed or assigned to multiple Teams channels or groups.

You can try to use these workarounds:

    1. Create a new team and add all necessary members before assignment.
This involves setting up a new team and then assigning the project to it.

    2. Copy the project and assign it to another group.
This can be done by accessing the project in Project Portal, selecting More actions, and choosing Copy project. The copy can then be assigned to the desired group.

Regarding file storage, projects created in Project for the Web are stored in Dataverse.

For Teams, files shared within a channel are stored in the team's SharePoint folder.
In the case of private or group chats, shared files are stored in OneDrive for Business and are accessible only to the participants in that conversation.
