problems with video outbound teams calls only

Hi,  I am running MS teams app on a Mac.  In the past week I have had a problem with seeing the video on outbound teams calls only, this only occurs for the person I am calling and they can see my video on their side..  The problem does not occur is the person calls me (inbound calls) or if i  joins a teams meeting from a link or if I call the person from a browser once it is not safari 

I can't seem to locate a setting which may account for this

Any suggestions on how to fix would be greatly appreciated
