Problem with marking in the activity feed as unseen

Hey! 

I recently stumbled upon a issue where I mark a few activities as unread, but when I go to, for instance, "chat" and back to the activity feed, it automatically marks the top ones as read. Does anyone here know if this is a known issue and if it's possible to fix it?
