Outbound external calls start muted

Question

Making outbound external calls through salesforce, with the :tel protocol, all calls that go through start me muted causing people to hang up when I'm trying to say hello. Cant see a setting for it, any ideas?

This is still an issue 3 months later affecting all my consultants - is this going to be resolved MS?

same issue here, been like this for months, when is MS going to fix this. Pretty big bug in New Teams.
