opening recording from a link
Hi, I was sent a link to a recording of a meeting I attended. When I click on the link to access it, it asks me to log into my microsoft account. It then rejects my user name, saying it does not exist. If I log directly into my account using the user name, it is not a problem. Do I need to use the person who recorded the meeting's user name and password?

Great question. Whatever happens, do not use another persons username and password to log in. That would be a security issue
See this article, section how to access the meeting after it has been recorded

If the person who has recorded it is in your organisation, and you attended the meeting then you should be able to access it from the associated chat conversation, or if you search for it in https://web.microsoftstream.com in the section discover. If the person who recorded it is outside your organisation you will only be able to access it if they download it and share it with you
Hope that answers your question
Best, Chris
