Office365 Teams Lifesize integration step by step
Hello Mighty Wizards,
I'd like to know if there is a step by step guide that describes how to integrate LifeSize Cloud solution with Office365 Teams.
Vendor web site is of no use since it publishes only marketing materials. It'd seem a native integration but I'm wondering if you need a third party gateway such as Pexip or Bluejeans.
Please help.
Best regard
- Here we go
https://www.lifesize.com/en/help/admin-console/chat-integration/microsoft-teams
Lifesize installs a bot for scheduling then overwrites the meeting links. From what is looks like you don't join the meeting from the Teams client, the link would direct to the virtual lifesize meeting room
On the face of it, this is a seperate app and doesn't use a third party interop like Pexip
Hope that answers your question!
Best, Chris

Best, Chris- jameskirk1969Copper ContributorThank you for your reply Chris,
I've seen the link you sent me, but can it be so easy? No commands to give in Office365? No lifesize domain registration in Office365? Firewall openings. In the video at a certain point you can choose which VTC actually has to be used. That implies to me that Office365 Azure AD has to be aware of those VTCs.
I think there are more hidden phases and commands to give on both sides (Office365 and Lifesize). Unfortunately the provided docs is extremely poor.
Cheers beppe- Unfortunately, I can't say - it's down to the technical documentation of Lifesize as being a third party app, it wouldn't be in Microsoft's. You can follow the link provided to download their whole technical documentation (on the right size down the bottom) however I don't think they have what you are looking for. I would be inclined to ask them for a trial, try to set it up and see what the experience is.
It is possible that all this integration is doing is putting an bot in teams which rewrites the meeting - however, from the materials you suggest there could be more steps. It would be good to hear in the future if it worked out and if there were more steps involved
Best, Chris
