Office family registration MS Teams
- May 21, 2020
The Home and Student licenses do not include Microsoft Teams, no. There is no add-on option for Teams stand-alone for your family plan you currently have. However, this is soon going to change as early as next month and Teams will be part of your M365 license.
Until then, you have a couple of options:
- You can use the free version of Microsoft Teams and wait a month for the full Teams functionality as part of your M365 license
- You can switch to a business license: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compare-all-microsoft-365-products?=&rtc=1&activetab=tab:primaryr1 & more detail: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/e1-trial-license
I hope that helps.
