Notification is not correct
Hi,
I am receiving thumbs up with wrist is facing left side from user and notification is giving thumbs up with wrist is facing right side. Attached snapshot highlighted with yellow for the same.
Thanks,
Mayank Adesara
That is bizarre! I have tested this and all seems ok. Screenshotes attached.
A few questions
- What version of Teams are you on? Are you on the latest version?
- Is this consistent across the desktop and web versions?
- Have you logged out, back in and cleared the cache?
- Does it persist across multiple users? Or just you?
If you are on the latest version, it's consistent across desktop and web, you have logged out and cleared cache I would raise a ticket to support via the Microsoft 365 admin centre to note the inconsistency as it's likely a bug
Hope that answers your question!
Best, Chris

Hi ChrisHoardMVP ,
Thank you for your quick reply.
1. Teams version in my desktop is "Microsoft Teams Version 1.2.00.22654 (64-bit). It was last updated on 9/4/19"
2. I have only seen this from desktop to desktop chat.
3. No, I have not logged out and clear the cache. But after doing logging out and logging in, I am getting the same issue. (I don't know how to clear cache in desktop app)
4. No, I get the same issue (reverse thumbs up) from multiple users when I received / sent the thumbs up.
Thanks,
Mayank Adesara
- Thanks MayankAdesara
In that case I would raise it to support. I have raised a Bug reference on uservoice here to reference too in the ticket

Hope that helps - it would be good to understand what was at the root of this for future support.
Best, Chris
