New to Microsoft Teams
Hello Everyone!
I just recently begun using Microsoft Teams to conduct an online international bible study with about 25 men from around the world. We previously were using Google Hangouts, but our numbers outgrew it. We want to avoid the issue of not being able to have members join our weekly live gatherings because the app/program only allows a certain amount of participants in a live video conference. So far, we've had about 12 men in one conference, but I'm concerned still about capacity and the answers that I've seen online vary. What is the definitive answer? How many participants can be in a free version of Microsoft Teams video conference? Also, what is the time limit for a video conference? We wouldn't need more than two hours, but I want to be sure. Otherwise, we will need to use Zoom Pro and just pay for it. Thanks for your help in advance!

- OP. The limit is technically 250 in a meeting. But with free teams keep in mind everyone has to load teams. Login and join the meeting in a channel. You cannot schedule a teams free meeting and send out an invite like you can the paid version of teams.
You can get a less expensive version of teams via an E1 license compared to zoom and conduct 250 person meetings and use anonymous joining and scheduling.
Anyway hope that helps.- Senator427Copper ContributorThanks, Chris. That confirmation is helpful. The group will be back in action this Saturday; we'll see how maximum capacity works then!
