New Teams (work or school) shows User as guest in own organization in Team

after login into org tenant Member account is showing as Guest - this is while using "new teams (work or school)"

issue not present in "old" version

issue not present through web browser

cleaning cache, re installing, resetting - does nothing.
One of the workarounds that seems to work, is to “Hide” other Orgs in old client, then switch to new.
Unfortunately – this removes the access to other orgs.
