Not going to lie, I was excited to try this out, but unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to. Not only is it apparently NOT available in private channels, when I did try it in a public channel, it appears I can only create online Teams meetings specifically. I wanted to use this to create a production calendar for our theater stage crew - that is to say I just wanted to be able to add the dates and times we'll be meeting in order to build sets, program lighting, etc for a theater production. But there seems to be no way to make it NOT be a teams meeting, even when I add an actual location to the meeting.

ctclark1 The Teams channel app doesn't support private channels. If you need full-blown channel functionality for a limited set of people, create a new team and use that.
