Multiple clients

Hi,

We're looking at using Teams for our phone system with Yealink T56A or MP56 handsets.

If we're on a Teams meeting using the handset, and someone wanted to share a screen with us, can we see that on the PC the user is signed into? Can we effectively use both handset and PC Client simultaneously, having audio go through the phone and camera/other content go through the PC?

  • Hi Brendan_Richman,

Yes you can use it simultaneously, either

1.) Join the Teams meeting in the Teams client initially and set the audio device to the phone
    or

2.) If you are already on the phone and somebody wants to share something you should be able to join the Teams meeting in the Teams client on the PC - when joining select Don't Use Audio and join muted where your phone will be the audio

Hope that clarifies and answers your question

    Best, Chris
