Multiple accounts on Teams App, users can click any account and it auto signs in - how to stop?
- Feb 21, 2024
Hi TyBem,
you can remove all the signed-in accounts from Microsoft Teams.
Open every single location (path) seperately with Windows Start + R (Run) and delete everything in the location. Microsoft Teams should be running.%LocalAppData%\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe
%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\OneAuth
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\TokenBroker
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\IdentityCache
This should remove all active logged-in users in Microsoft Teams Client. Then, log out from the Microsoft Teams and sign-in with the generic user you are using.
This is just a workoround, not a solution.
I would be good to give feedback directly to Microsoft regarding this issue in your Microsoft Teams client by clicking on ... > Help > Give Feedback or by posting a feature request on Microsoft Feedback Portal (Microsoft Teams · Community).
