MS Teams not outputting to my headphones/headset.

Do I take it no one has had a similar issue (except for the one person who like this post)? Or is everyone just apathetic because MS has a tendency of not fixing issues, so no one wants to weigh in? 
It's not just you. Except my device is a Sennheiser 450HD. Microphone is not detected at all; no input levels being shown. No sound from the meeting either, despite audio from other source (e.g. music player, video streams) working just fine.
That said, Teams has been a problem for this headset from the very outset, so my confidence in issues being resolved in this space is low.
