MS Teams is Capturing Your Screen (Mac)
This notification is always on when running the new MS Teams on Mac. Even when there are no meetings running.
Seems like a major privacy breach?

Same issue here - this is either a notifiction bug or a massive provacy problem. Either way it needs addressing ASAP. As it stands I have had to to disable that permission for Teams and re-enable every time I need to share my screen, which is not ideal.
RARS I think this is a bug have seen this with multiple applications on mac. do not see it anymore on my mac.

Not sure what the problem was but this worked: answered a call on the web version, didn't let the app open, shared my screen, then stopped sharing. Notification went away.

I'm experiencing the same problem. Even after disabling screen recording permissions in System Settings and quitting Teams, the issue persists. It's quite annoying and raises privacy concerns.

I'm having the same issue. This needs to be easier to turn off
- rbwestergaardCopper ContributorWe're experiencing the same issue here as of this date. Not everyone are affected by it though. I cannot conclude weather this issue is related to macOS or Teams.
BTW: I disabled Microsoft Teams from screen recording in the privacy settings, but the issue persists regardless. - fdevelopmsCopper ContributorSame here. Quite annoying - and any workaround could be useful, but didn't find any so far...

This is still happening as of 1/27/2023. No processes running in activity monitor as far as I can tell except the audio driver, which has been a problem for years now.
- pedrociarliniCopper Contributor> Resolved by entering another call and sharing my screen there.

This worked for me: What I just did was to pretend to join a private upcoming meeting, then share my screen there, then stopped sharing my screen. It disappeared right after, I left the empty 'meeting'.JTCAN

JTCAN This helped me - maybe it will help someone else.
I think the way this started was that I answered a call on the web version, and then switched to the App version. To remedy, I did the same thing again, and the notification went away.
